Bt TOOLBOX, NACCHO's Bioterrorism Web-based Resource Center, is a directory of emergency preparedness information by, for, and about local public health systems. Its central feature is a searchable database of sources for public health preparedness materials, such as response plans, emergency protocols, table-top exercises, training curricula and programs, videos, CD-ROMs, outbreak investigation tools, vaccination and treatment implementation guides, etc. Candidate materials are submitted to NACCHO by public health agencies and systems.
In addition to the database, the NACCHO Web-based Resource Center includes several additional features designed to facilitate the development of increased local public health capacity. Among these features are the abilities of users to submit tools, ask for specific types of tools, and view links to supplemental resources about readiness, collected by NACCHO."
